Tarrah Callahan

Founder & Executive Director

Tarrah Callahan is the Founder and Executive Director of Conservatives for Criminal Justice Reform and Co-Founder of Conservatives for Criminal Justice Initiative. Tarrah serves on the Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee, Governor’s Task Force for Race and Criminal Justice, North Carolina Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities and works with the SBI’s Center for the Reduction of Law Enforcement Use of Force. She has testified before a plethora of commissions and committees including the United States Commission on Civil Rights, North Carolina General Statutes Committee and the North Carolina Senate Judiciary Committee. She is an active member on a number of criminal justice coalitions as well. Prior to founding CCJR, she was involved in nonprofit advocacy in North Carolina for over 10 years.
