Conservatives for Criminal Justice Initiative
Conservatives for Criminal Justice Reform is excited to announce the formalization of Conservatives for Criminal Justice Initiative (CCJI), our affiliated 501(c)(4) organization. CCJI was created to advance critical policy reforms and support principled leaders who champion solutions-driven criminal justice policy.
Grounded in conservative values, CCJI advocates for a justice system that protects public safety, respects individual liberty and due process, and uses taxpayer resources responsibly. We believe individuals should be held accountable in ways that are fair and proportional, without creating unnecessary collateral consequences that extend beyond a person’s involvement in the justice system and cause lasting harm to families and communities. We work alongside policymakers, practitioners, and community leaders to advance practical, evidence-based solutions that improve outcomes and strengthen confidence in the justice system.
Through policy advocacy, public education, and engagement with elected officials and other decision-makers, CCJI helps turn sound ideas into meaningful action. Our work is focused on supporting effective reforms—and the champions willing to lead them—that make the justice system safer, fairer, and more accountable.
